Southeastern Fastpitch is pleased to announce the first annual State Championship in Florida on December 2-3, 2023 in Ocala, Florida. This is the ultimate and most prestigious tournament offered by SFP and is invitation only.
To play in the State Championship, you must win a qualifying tournament. There will be 5 qualifiers offered throughout the year. Divisions for the State Championship will be 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and High School and be made up of no more than 6 teams in each division. The winners of each gold bracket will qualify for the State Championship. SFP may decide to include silver bracket champions based on qualifying tournament size and the current number of teams accepted into the State Championship. The registration cost for the State Championship is $395 per team (this fee includes umpire fees). To secure your position in the State Championship after winning your qualifier a deposit is required.
The format will be a 3/1 will all three games played on Saturday and elimination games on Sunday. The winner of each division will receive a SFP State Championship Ring and a t-shirt for each player and coach and a HUGE team trophy! The runner up in each division will receive a SFP State Championship runner up ring.
All qualifying tournaments will follow the NFHS rules, and any exceptions listed on the Southeastern Fastpitch website. The winners of the gold bracket will be invited to attend the SFP State Championship. There may be a time in which we allow silver bracket winners to qualify for the Championship. Coaches will be notified prior to each qualifier what is being offered.
Once your team qualifies for the State Championship you will receive an invitation from SFP staff providing you further instructions. Teams that qualify for the State Championship must pay a deposit of $195 to secure your teams' position. The remaining balance is due no later than October 30, 2023. Any team that qualifies in the final qualifier in November must pay the entire tournament fee no later than November 10, 2023.
Any team that does not make the required deposits or payments within the time frames specified will forfeit their ability to participate in the SFP State Championship. Any team that withdraws from the tournament after November 13, 2023 will forfeit all tournament fees paid.
